Bio

Introducing Wattmore, the Brisbane-based brother duo redefining what it means to be genre-bending, authentic, and unapologetically raw. Aiden and Kai Boak aren’t just musicians; they’re storytellers, rebels, and torchbearers of a sound that bridges generations. With one foot planted firmly in the heritage of ’70s outlaw country and classic rock, and the other kicking down the doors of modern alt-country and punk, Wattmore is carving out a space uniquely their own.
Their debut single, ‘Circus Life,’ is a gritty anthem that delves into themes of identity and belonging, blending punk energy with Americana soul. Co-written with Australian songwriting legend Allan Caswell and produced by country music icon Lindsay Waddington, the track set the tone for Wattmore’s fearless musical journey.

“Their follow-up single, ‘Romantic Side,’ delivers a satirical yet heartfelt critique of modern dating culture. With twangy, high-octane instrumentation and clever lyricism, Wattmore continues to showcase their knack for mixing country storytelling with punk’s rebellious attitude.”

Rocker magazine

Wattmore’s sound is raw and unfiltered, built on the legacy of artists like Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Green Day, and The Clash. They draw from alt-country, rockabilly, classic rock, and punk, without ever compromising their own voice. The result is a body of work that feels nostalgic yet vital, intimate yet loud.
On stage, the brothers light up any venue with their fiery performances. Whether at the Tamworth Country Music Festival or iconic Brisbane venues like The Triffid, Wattmore delivers a show packed with authenticity, drive, and connection.

In a world of hyper-produced tracks and formulaic trends, Wattmore stands proudly in the mess and magic of real music. Their songs tell stories. Their performances demand attention. Their mission is clear: honour the greats, disrupt the now, and keep it 100% Wattmore.
